Elma Blint is the creator and host of Market Folks. A trained jewelry designer, collector, and entrepreneur, she has spent more than 30 years in retail, from owning independent shops in New York City and Brooklyn to building a thriving business as a market entrepreneur for the past 17 years. After experiencing traditional retail, Elma chose the flexibility and community of market life while raising her two sons. Today, her business spans jewelry, vintage watches, and other carefully curated finds. As both a longtime vendor and retailer, Elma brings an insider’s perspective to Market Folks—telling the stories of entrepreneurs building legitimate businesses beyond traditional storefronts.
